Samia has over two decades experience in developing, implementing and evaluating educational and community development projects with refugee and other communities, primarily in the Middle East. She has worked with a number of local and international NGOs, charitable foundations, the UN, and other international agencies.

Samia is currently the CEO of the Horizon Foundation (UK). The Foundation supports the education of young people from refugee communities and areas of conflict, particularly Palestinians, Syrians, Tibetans and Afghans.
