Prof Mirvat Bulbul

Prof Bulbul joined Birzeit University in 1999 as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering. She completed her PhD degree at Cambridge University in 1998. In addition to her teaching post, she had served in a number of administrative posts within the university including Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs (2005-2008), Assistant to the President for External Relations (2009-2010), Director of Grants and Contracts (2011) and Vice President for Planning and Development (2015/16-2017/18). She is currently serving as the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs following her appointment to this post in September 2018.

In the period of Aug 2012 to Dec 2013, Prof Bulbul served as the Head of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) for higher education institutions in Palestine.
