Mohammad Eyad
Mohammad is a fourth year Medicine student at the Hashemite University who hopes to become a cardiologist. Mohammad Eyad remembers well the horrific feeling when he realised he could no longer stay in his home country, Syria, and that he could no longer continue his education.
He was anxious about continuing his education but since he was awarded a DAFI scholarship, Mohammad has been able to focus on his studies and not worry about having to work to cover his living expenses.
The DAFI scholarship allowed Mohammed not only to continue his education, but also to start the “Refugee Freelance” platform, a mobile application which enables refugees to sell their services to customers globally. Mohammad is studying Business and Marketing at the Applied Science University.
