Marwa Bouka

Marwa currently works as Deputy Managing Director with RMTeam International, an international firm that provides a wide range of services in the Middle East and North Africa including Market Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Development, Need Assessments, Conflict Analysis, and Financial Verification.

Marwa received a scholarship from Saïd Foundation for an MBA at the University of Warwick which she completed mainly by distance learning whilst holding down a full-time job with the World Food Programme (WFP) in Syria. She oversaw all humanitarian and development projects implemented by WFP’s Syria country office reaching around 500,000 people including Iraqi refugees, drought affected farmers and vulnerable children. Marwa contributed to the design and implementation of a pilot electronic voucher system in Syria and is considered an expert in this modality of humanitarian assistance.
