Dr Mira Kassouf

Dr Kassouf is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher working with Prof. Doug Higgs in the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, studying how genes are switched on and off in development, differentiation and disease.

With more than 15 years’ experience in gene regulation, she is constantly up-skilling in novel suites of cellular modelling, genome editing, and genomics. She plays an active role in innovation and entrepreneurship as a lead in ‘Innovation Forum Oxford’. She is also involved with the Entrepreneurship Centre at the Saïd Business School where she works with Ideas to Impact community that is focused on Strategy and Innovation.
