The Saïd Foundation Student Weekend

A special event was held on Saturday 22nd August for Saïd Foundation 2019/20 students to celebrate the end of the academic year.  

The day started with a socially distanced session in which the Foundation alumni joined virtually to share their experience and advice with the students to help them plan their next steps. Topics included: conducting further studies, making a difference in your community, setting up your own business, women in leadership, going into academia, and doing good for the region from abroad.

The session was followed by a visit to the London Eye and a traditional British afternoon tea at The Wolseley, in keeping with social distancing guidelines save for a few photograph opportunities.
