The Saïd Foundation publishes its 2020 annual review

The Saïd Foundation is delighted to share its 2020 annual review.

In his foreword to the review, our Chairman Wafic Saïd highlighted how the Foundation and its partners were able to deliver their programmes despite the pandemic challenges in 2020.

Last year, the Foundation welcomed a new cohort of bright students to the UK, co-hosted the inaugural Saïd Rhodes Forum at the University of Oxford, and continued the much-needed humanitarian work with its partners in Lebanon and Jordan to support the education and livelihoods of Syrian refugee children and youth.

Another highlight of this review are a few success stories from our Scholarships Programme alumni working in the healthcare sector, either providing essential healthcare services in their countries or contributing to ground-breaking medical research globally.

The review also features stories of inspiring Syrian refugees who were supported by the UNHCR DAFI Scholarship Programme in Jordan and Lebanon.
