New Rhodes Scholars
Two new Rhodes Scholars have been selected to receive prestigious Rhodes Scholarships for Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
The Said Foundation is very pleased to announce that two new Rhodes Scholars have been selected to receive prestigious Rhodes Scholarships for Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
After a highly competitive selection process, the two Scholars selected were Bahaa Attallah from Palestine and Alexey Youseef from Syria. Bahaa hopes to study for a DPhil in Clinical Neuroscience and Alexey to pursue first an MSc in International Health before completing a Masters in Business Administration. Both Scholars will start their respective postgraduate programmes at the University of Oxford in Autumn 2018.
These outstanding individuals were chosen, amongst other things, for their strong drive and determination, and for their commitment to their respective home countries. You can read more about the Scholars and the Rhodes Trust here.
This is the second year the Said Foundation has partnered with the Rhodes Trust and Oxford University and we look forward to welcoming the new Scholars to the UK soon.
