HANDS UP FOR SYRIA APPEAL
The Said Foundation and the Asfari Foundation are holding an appeal in aid of education for Syrian children and young people.
The Said Foundation and the Asfari Foundation are holding an appeal in aid of education for Syrian children and young people in Syria and neighbouring countries. The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the International Rescue Committee and Save the Children will be equal beneficiaries of this appeal. Between them, they cover the full spectrum of educational needs inside Syria and in the neighbouring countries, formal and informal, from early childhood to university. The Said and Asfari Foundations are delighted to be working on this appeal with the Hands Up Foundation, an innovative UK charity set up by young volunteers that successfully raises money for Syria.
We appeal to all those who share our belief in Syria’s children to put their Hands Up for Syria. Every penny donated will be matched by the two Foundations and all appeal costs covered by the Foundations’ chairmen, Wafic Said and Ayman Asfari.
