Hands Up for Syria Appeal – one year anniversary

The Hands Up for Syria Appeal, which ended on 9 May 2016, raised £8,259,682.

The Hands Up for Syria Appeal, which ended on 9 May 2016, raised £8,259,682 for Save the Children, the International Rescue Committee and the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR, to be spent on educating children and young people in Syria and surrounding countries.

The appeal was organised through a partnership of the Asfari Foundation, the Hands Up for Syria Foundation and the Said Foundation.  The amount of £4,129,841 was raised from generous donors and this amount was matched  by the Chairmen of the Asfari and Said Foundations, Mr Ayman Asfari and Mr Wafic Said.
